Last weekend, Hunter was up on the mountain so I made the most of my Saturday night and went to the Western Stampede Rodeo! I wish I had a cowboy hat and boots but let's face it, I am no cowgirl! It was pretty fun though! I went with my mom, Gena and her boys. I also saw my friend Tanya, her husband and their little boy!
One cool thing we saw were the Budweiser Clydesdale's.
I loved watching my nephew Logan cover his ears when the crowd would cheer! It was pretty funny!
Caleb was getting ready to go "Muttin' Bustin'!" (Thanks to Tanya, I know the proper term! Ha ha!) Anyway, funny story... Caleb called to tell me he would be riding a sheep at the rodeo. Then he said, "I did it last year and swore I would never do it again, but, well, I guess I am. Can you believe it?" It was so funny! He talks like such a little grown up. It cracked me up!
So I am not the greatest photographer but Logan was having way to much fun on the bleachers to let me take another one. Anyway, here is me, my mom and half of Logan waiting for Caleb to ride the sheep! Woo Hoo!
The grand finally! Caleb did such a good job! This was definitely my favorite part of the rodeo. (I apologize to all you rodeo regulars who actually know what to watch for. I am sure this is not the "main event" but I thought it was awesome watching kids fall off of sheep! How much more entertaining does it get?!)
