Hunter and his parents Larry and MiShele! We love you guys!
Tyson, Hunter, Ameen and Molly!YAHOO! As you can probably guess by now, Hunter officially graduated on Saturday! The opening commencement was great! It was a special bonus to have president Thomas S. Monson there, and of course, he gave a GREAT speech! After the commencement, we headed to my parents for a luncheon! My family was awesome! They had everything set up for us and ready to go! Thanks guys! Not only was the food ready to go, but, we all had MiShele's world famous "dirty rice" that made the day even better! After eating, we relaxed for a while with family! (Thanks everyone who could make it for being here!) Later, we headed over to Hunter's graduation ceremony! For the speaker, they had the CUTEST 104 year old I have ever seen! (Not that I have ever seen anyone else that was 104...) Anyway, he was AWESOME!
This is my man Edward Rondthaler II, the 104 year old I was talking about! What a cute old guy!
Oh, I can't finish summing up the big day without this...So, we were all anxiously awaiting Hunter's turn to have his name called, get his diploma, etc. When he finally got to the stage, he handed the guy his card and he said "Hunter Sh..." (at this point he starts to panic and is frantically flipping Hunter's card over as if that will help him pronounce the name), then he gives up, hands Hunter his card and says, "Sorry sir"!
WHAT?
Hunter went to school for 6 years and you can't even finish his name??? SERIOUSLY? How hard is it to say Shaheen? Apparently it is WAY harder than the last names "Sferruzza, Zdunich, and Lonczyna" just to name a few! - So maybe they didn't pronounce their names correctly, but at lease they FINISHED their names for crying out loud! I think this calls for some kind of reimbersement!!!

YAHOOOOOOOOO!!! It was awesome even if they had an idiot reading names. I'm so proud of him for following it through. Thanks again for a GREAT weekend. Can't wait til the next one.
Luv Ya,
Meesh
LOL OH man!! Yeah how hard is it to read a name!?! Apparently its hard. Well Congrats to Hunter!!! YAY!!!
Yea Hunter! We're so glad you did it! Shaheen is not that hard either.
YAY!! Way to go Hunter! I as well loved the 104 year old man. I will for sure think of him and ... "SMILE" ... for years to come. I think you guys should get a refund too...at least hunter didn't have to share his seat with a GIANT! HA HA! What a great day. :)
Wait..I think it was "LAUGH", not "SMILE." Dang it! I already forgot
That is awesome that he graduated..but i can't believe they messed up his name. . that is so sad for Hunter..
It must be a history dept thing. When I graduated they called me Kimberly. Not even close to Krysta. Seriously...Who does that?? Congratulations Hunter!!
(Oh and if you're wondering, I got to your blog thru Shad's) :)
Oh Steph... I'm with you. Definately grounds for reimbursment! :) That is nuts about the name thing! I'm so happy for Hunter! Way to go! You'll have to tell me about Meesh's "dirty rice" sounds interesting! See you tomorrow!!! I can't wait!
Congratulations. Hey I'm posting a little comment for Holly. She is going to be in Cedar June 7-12 and would love to get together with you. Go to lunch or something. Holly will get ahold of your mom and get your number. She really wants to see you.
