We took a trip up Salina Canyon Thursday night to Hunter's family cabin for the weekend! Our good friends Chris and Taryn came up Friday night to finish out the weekend with us! We had SO much fun and loved relaxing! Here we are on the 4-wheeler!
On Saturday we went fishing! I am not much of a fisher so I opted to be the camera girl instead! We were only there about 2 hours before the rain started rolling in but there was NO WAIT in getting the fish to bite!
Here is Taryn's first! It was a pretty big one and I swear it latched on to that hook the second she put her pole in. Her and Chris caught SO MANY FISH! I think they were both 6 for 7!
Just before loading up and heading back to the cabin, Hunter switched his bait to the "secret flavor" that Chris and Taryn were using and he FINALLY caught a fish! WOO HOO!
This is what happened next... Apparently fishing is really hard work!
The guys had been giving Taryn and I crap all week about our menu selections (Only joking of course) but we thought we would be funny and give them some crap too! We prepared some strawberry shortcake for desert. As you can probably guess, ours were on the left, theirs were on the right!
