First, I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! I sure did and here are some of the things that made it great...
Hunter's parents had their anniversary while we were there for the long break! We went to Hash House to celebrate - thanks to a great suggestion from Kurt and Shadoe - and had a blast with everyone! Just look at the size of those pancakes!!! There are a few more "food" pictures that I will hopefully get around to posting simply because they are SO DANG HUGE!
Happy Anniversary Larry and Meesh!

As for Thanksgiving Day, I am a BIG slacker and didn't get one picture of the fam or the food - Boo! Better luck next time. I've got to give a shout out to the smoked turkey and dirty rice though! They define the Shaheen Thanksgiving dinner and Monica's banana cream pie was scrum-diddly as well! So, basically it was all delicious!.... Anyone notice how I always blog about the FOOD? What is up with that?
Well, next to discuss - BLACK FRIDAY! Let me just say, "there ain't no party like a black Friday party" with the Shaheen women! They are professionals and we have an awesome time doing it! Here we all are lined up for Toys-R-Us at 10:00 pm ON THE 215! Yes, we are that crazy! I love it! We had lots of fun with some extra shoppers to start out the night with us! Kurt came, as well as his brother and sister-in-law and we had a good time! After getting out of Toys-R-Us at midnight, we headed over to Wal-Mart to meet up with Kurt and Shadoe.
And then there were 3! After the SLOWEST line in the history of man-kind, we busted out of there and got hot choclolate, donuts, blankets, and coats, and froze our tushies off until Target opened at 4:00! Yes, we may have looked like the crazy Target lady in the red jumper at this point but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! We got some sa-mok-in deals! We finally made it home around 6:00 am, took a good long nap, ate some breakfast, and hit the stores again! I loved every second of it and have some seriously great partners for Black-Friday shopping!
I just want to finish this post with a short and sweet list of some things I am thankful for so here goes...
My family - Amazing and couldn't ask for better
Hunter's family - Best in-laws in the world
Hunter - My best bud! So lucky to have him in my life
Daisy - My sweet and pudgy little pup
Friends - I have the best friends a girl could as for
My job - I absolutely love it, and the amazing people I work with
The gospel - So grateful for the knowledge I have of what's important and why I am here
I am so thankful for everything I have! I really am very blessed!
Hope everyone had a GREAT Holiday!

Steph,
You are the best!! Glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving with us and the Black Friday tradition that was, as always, AMAZING!!!!! We love you guys and had such a great time. Can't wait until the Christmas party:)
I love that you guys are all into black friday! Craig and I did it for the first time this year. We started out at walmart at 11:00 pm and then headed down to st george and froze our butts off in the target line. Actually- let me rephrase- Craig froze his butt off for 4 hours while I shopped in the warmth at Childrens place! But i did stand with him the last 30 min until the target opened the doors. arent i a good wifey? haha. Cute pictures! Tell Hunter we said Hi! We need to have you guys and Taryn and Chris over. That would be fun huh?!
One day we'll have to celebrate Black Friday Together!
