Moab - Day 2
While Hunter was watching The Kona...
We were exploring The Arches National Park!
I am sure this has a name, couldn't tell you what it is called though - sorry!
This was called Landscape Arch! Hunter actually hiked to this with me. YAHOO! Maybe he will slowly decide that hiking is kind of awesome?!? Of course, Derek and Harmony have the pictures to prove it, but I know he was there! It was pretty amazing (the Arch too)! Ha ha!
Here are the Double Arches! They were really neat to see and such a short hike! Totally worth it!
And here is the FAMOUS Delicate Arch featuring Harm and I!
I did take a picture all by my lonesome, arm up to my side like Hunter was right there with me... Derek said he would photo shop Hunt in for me! We will see...
And here we are again under the arch! Holy Shamoli it was windy! And the wait to get under the darn thing was quite a feat in itself but we totally did it! Hooray!
Then it was time for lunch! Freezing cold, windiest ever, hot dog kind of lunch. I found a spot on this little peak to sit on and block the wind a little - then of course, all the kids (including Hunter-Ha ha! Just kidding!) had to climb up! Good times!
Truck beds work pretty good for blocking the wind too!
And who can pass up a picture leaning on an awesome tree like this...?
