Today the final game in Yankee Stadium was played and as you know, you can't find a bigger group of die-hard Yankee fans than the Shaheen's. As you can imagine, we were glued to the TV from the second we got home to the last second of the game.
It was really a bitter-sweet evening as we watched all the greats walk onto the field one last time. It is unbelievable to think of all the history behind this stadium. So many legends, games, traditions, and memories. What an amazing tribute to an amazing stadium!
It is hard to believe that only 3 months ago, we were there!
I am so glad that we were able to go and fulfill a life-long dream of Hunter's! What an awesome place to see and be a part of during it's final season!

Wow! What a day for you guys! I can't believe it is finally over for the old place. I am glad that you guys got to go there this summer it looks like you had a blast. :) I think that "life long dream for Hunter" is kind of an understatement ha ha!
