SLC and Body Worlds

This week we had a few days off for "Harvest Holiday and Fall Recess," AKA "Hunting." As you have probably guessed, Hunter is already up on the mountain in our little trailer living like a real man for a week!
I decided to go with my mom and dad up north to visit Derek and Harmony. We went to the Capital Building, SHOPPING!!! (my personal favorite) and to Body Worlds at The Leonardo. That was definately a very interesting experience. All in all it was very educational (I read so much that I can't remember ANY of it!), and a little eerie! After seeing layers of fat, black lungs, and un-exercised hearts, I can officially say I have learned to live a little healthier, although I never thought I would see a human body diced, sliced and examined in so many ways. Who would have thought people would pay to see corpses all over the place? All for the love of science...

P.S. I tried to get a picture with one, but apparently you aren't allowed to take pictures with dead people so I stole one from the internet!

Steph, that is so cool!! I've always wanted to go to the exhibits of the bodies. I've heard its way neat. If you and Taryn come down it would be SOOOO fun!! I would really like that. If you can't I understand, but let me know! Love ya!

I think that sounds fun... especially the shopping part. I must be kind of disturbed but the cadaver lab was one of my favorite classes in college so I think I would love to see this place. Good luck to Hunter hopefully he gets a big buck...or just has a lot of fun!

I don't think I would have liked to go, especially in my condition. I would probably pass out.
